Jovit Baldivino, Pilipinas Got Talent winner dies at 29

The Pilipino singer Jovit Baldivino, who won the first series of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2010, died on Thursday at the age of 29.

The news was confirmed by his parents, Hilario and Cristeta Baldivino, and his fiance, Camille Ann Miguel, who said that he died in a hospital in Batangas City after suffering a brain aneurysm.

Baldivino was allowed to perform at a Christmas celebration in Batangas City on December 4 despite having high blood pressure and being told to rest by physicians.

He was seen gasping for breath. 

He was taken to the hospital shortly afterward, where a scan showed a blood clot on his brain, said to be a sign of an aneurysm.

He had blood suctioned from his head and stayed for five days in a coma before passing away on Thursday.

Following the announcement of the news, his fiance wrote a number of messages on Facebook. “I miss you so much already, my love,” she said.
