Andrew Tate has been been charged with “repeatedly strangling and abusing” two women.
Vice has brought this information to light, and they claim that “Two women claimed VICE World News they were violently abused by Andrew Tate, that UK police and the Crown Prosecution Service handled their case poorly, allowing him to ascend to global celebrity on the back of his unrestrained misogyny”
“When I saw that he had been arrested in Romania, I was astonished and unsure of how to respond,” the first woman in question told the media site. I sobbed. I read exactly what I said to the police [when filing the complaint]. None of this would have happened if the CPS had simply pulled their finger out.
Even the second person has the same sentiment: “[I am] delighted that something has been done, but not entirely hopeful, given he has previously walked away from his sexual assaults.”
I’ve been very furious with the British legal system and police for a very long time since they could have stopped him from abusing these women in Romania in the same way.
